The Tomlinson family is in mourning.

Félicité Tomlinson, Louis Tomlinson’s younger sister, died at her home in London on Wednesday. She was 18.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said in a statement: ”Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 12.52pm on Wednesday, 13 March to a residential address following reports of a female in cardiac arrest.

“A female believed to be aged 18 was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.”

Félicité collapsed at her London apartment after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest. No official cause of death has been given at this time.

“Police are in the process of informing her next of kin,” the Metropolitan Police tell ET. “At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course. Enquiries continue.”

Louis was reportedly notified of the tragedy on the same day and has since cancelled his appearance on Friday night’s Comic Relief broadcast.

Félicité is a successful fashion and fitness influencer, with over a million Instagram followers. She also has a clothing line, Fizzy, which got its name from her nickname.

Celebrities have been paying tribute to Félicité and giving their support to Louis and the Tomlinson family on social media.

James Corden also paid tribute on social media writing: “Such incredibly sad news today. You’re not on your own in this Louis Tomlinson. So many people are pulling for you and your family right now.”

Singer Charlie Puth wrote: “Prayers to Louis Tomlinson. I can’t imagine how hard it is right now. Love to you brother I’m so sorry and my prayers are with you.”

Olly Murs wrote on Twitter: “Absolutely heartbreaking hearing the news of Louis sister Félicité. Sending my love to him and all his family right now! Awful news.”

Just two years ago, the Tomlinson family also suffered a tragic loss – Louis and Félicité’s mother Johannah Deakin passed away after a long battle with leukemia. His recently released song “Two Of Us” is about her and how he’s living life to honor her.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Tomlinson family during this difficult time.
