Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox shared the happy news of their engagement last week. MGK proposed to Megan after less than two years of dating, and the happy couple shared their proposal video to fans on social media and gave us all a glimpse of that stunning engagement ring which had everyone talking!

Well, MGK is now revealing more details about that gorgeous two-stone sparkler. Speaking with Vogue, MGK (real name: Colson Baker) detailed the exquisite piece, saying:

“It’s a thoroughbred Colombian emerald, with no treatment. It was just carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine. And the diamond was directly from [designer] Stephen [Webster].”

He then went on to make a very interesting revelation about Megan’s ring: It will hurt if she tries to remove it! Whoa. He stated:

“The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart.

And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts…”

MGK shared this about the reasoning behind the unusual design:

“Love is pain!”
