Machine Gun Kelly knows what he wants and he goes for it — and when it comes to matters of the heart, it’s certainly paid off for him!
He recently revealed that he actually took on a movie role for the sole purpose of meeting his now ladylove, Megan Fox. The two are now among Hollywood’s hottest couples, and it turns out that their story began when MGK took matters in his own hands.
In a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the performer was asked by Drew about how he and Megan met. And he adorably shared:
‘We were filming a movie [Midnight In The Switchgrass], which ironically is the only reason I took the movie was because they were like, ‘Your scenes are with Megan Fox’ and I was like, ‘I’ll take the movie.’”
He stated that he had a gut feeling about meeting Megan, and said:
“[My] gut is always right and I’m grateful for it.
For some reason I knew she would invite me for lunch. Then, all of a sudden, someone came over and was like, ‘Megan wants to know it you want to have lunch in her trailer.’
And I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m so surprised. Yeah, absolutely.”
MGK went on to tell the story of what happened when he went to meet her for lunch at her trailer, saying that she asked how he was feeling, to which he responded with “I’m lost”:
“She said, ‘Let’s find you.’ And I was like… killed me. She was cupid.”
To this, Drew cutely stated:
“You got hit by her arrow!”
