Machine Gun Kelly is getting candid about falling in love “for the first time.”

The 30-year-old rapper opened up about meeting girlfriend Megan Fox for the first time in a recent interview.

“I didn’t know what [love] was until me and her made eye contact,” MGK said Wednesday (September 23) on The Howard Stern Show. “That’s when I was like, ‘Whoa.’”

“After I made the big chunk of the album [Tickets to My Downfall], I did fall in love for the first time,” he continued. “That was my first experience with being open to love and stuff like that. I definitely wasn’t set up to believe that that’s something that could ever exist.”

The pair, who met on the set of their upcoming movie Midnight in the Switchgrass earlier this year, began sparking dating speculations following the actress’ split from estranged hubby Brian Austin Green in May. They confirmed their romance in June and became Instagram official in August.

More recently, the couple have reportedly taken more strides in their relationhship. According to Us Weekly, Megan has already introduced MGK to her three sons – Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 3 – whom she shares with BAG.

“MGK and Megan aren’t seriously taking about getting engaged, married or having kids right now and they’re not there yet. It’s too soon for everyone, both of their kids and Brian [Austin Green] included. They are definitely super into each other. MGK is obsessed with Megan,” a source told the outlet.

“MGK has met Megan’s kids, but Brian is pretty protective of them. Megan and Brian’s relationship is so up and down. They have been coparenting in a healthy way as best as they can,” the source added.

During his interview, MGK also reflected on his bestie, Pete Davidson’s brief engagement to Ariana Grande in 2018.

“I remember when like the Ari thing happened, I just looked at Pete and I was like, ‘Man, the average American dude is very proud,’” he said. “He was just like a symbol of hope, because he was one of the boys. Just one of the guys in the basement.”

As for Pete’s “big d—k energy” – which was dubbed by the comedian’s former fiancée – MGK recalled the “interesting time” seeing how people were reacting.

“I was around for the whole creation of that term. That was an interesting time,” MGK said. “That was kind of when I was crashing at their [Pete and Ariana’s] apartment in New York, when they were together. We would step on the streets and everyone would [look at him].”
