Madonna is currently on the mend.

The 64-year-old pop icon was reportedly “found unresponsive and rushed to a new York City hospital. Outlets reported that she was allegedly intubated for at least one night.

The tube has since been removed, and the singer is now alert and on the road to recovery. Her daughter Lourdes Leon is said to have been by her mom’s side throughout the health ordeal.

Her manager Guy Oseary said in a statement on Wednesday (June 28):

“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU.

Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.

We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”

Madonna was set to kick off her first ever greatest hits tour, titled the Celebration Tour, on July 15 in Vancouver. As of yet, there are no details pertaining to rescheduled dates.
