Chris Evans is getting a ton of support from friends and fans after allegedly making a social media blunder over the weekend.

ICYMI, Chris became a top trending topic on Twitter on Saturday (September 12) – after he allegedly accidentally leaked a NSFW photo on his phone’s camera roll.

According to multiple reports, Chris shared a video of him playing Heads Up with his fam on his Instagram Story, the process of which involved a screen recording from his iPhone. But when the video of the game ended, the screen showed his camera roll instead – and…well, the camera roll reportedly contained a bunch of Chris’ photos, the Heads Up video, a photo of a guy’s genitals, and a meme with Chris’ face and the words “guard that p—-y”

The clip quickly went viral – before Chris realized what had happened and took down the original post. But because the internet is forever, screenshots began circulating around the internet.

It’s important to note though that there’s no way of knowing whose body part it was that’s featured in the photo. And, it’s also not 100% clear whose camera roll it was that was captured in the screen recording. And, luckily, Chris’ friends and fans got his back.

His Avengers co-star, Mark Ruffalo, urged him to see the “silver lining,” saying “there’s NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself.”

Chris’ younger brother, Scott, also went on Twitter to joke that he “was off social media for the day” when it happened, and hilariously asked, “So. What’d I miss?”

Meanwhile, Chrissy Teigen shared some of her insight as to how that particular snafu may have happened.

“My WhatsApp automatically saves every photo to my roll so any boobs in my phone are my girlfriends showing me their boobs or boobs they hate or boobs they love or yeah def also my boobs. I’d say 80 percent of my roll is whatsapp nonsense between friends,” she tweeted.

“I know you can change the settings but I like it. Tons of pics of the kids between families, easy when it saves. It just means that every once in a while there is a crazy random meme I don’t recall in my roll!” she added.

Fans also chimed in on social media, sharing more wholesome photos of Chris – like those adorable ones with his dog, Dodger – to try and bury the NSFW photos.

Kat Dennings praised the fans’ support of Chris, and also urged everyone to do the same in similar situations.

“The public respect for Chris Evans’ privacy/feelings is wonderful. Wouldn’t it be nice if it extended to women when this kind of thing happens?” she tweeted.
