Meagan Good is sharing her perspective on her relationship with Jonathan Majors, opening up about their romance and the support they’ve given each other. The 42-year-old actress recently received public support from Jonathan, 34, at the premiere of her new movie, Divorce in the Black. The event took place on Monday night, July 8, at Regal Times Square in New York City, marking a significant moment for the couple.
The next day, Meagan appeared on the Today Show to discuss her relationship with Jonathan, among other topics. When asked about the advice she received from friends regarding her relationship, Meagan had a thoughtful response.
“Uh, yeah, every friend advised me, but at the end of the day, one thing I know is I can always look at myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit, when I trust God, when I ask God, and when I move to the beat of my own drum,” she said.
Despite the well-meaning advice from friends, Meagan emphasized the importance of living life on her own terms. “I can always look and say, ‘OK, I’m proud of that.’ No matter whatever happens, I have peace in my heart, and I have harmony in my heart,” she continued.
Meagan also spoke about the positive aspects of her relationship with Jonathan, highlighting how they support and care for each other. “The support that we’ve been able to give each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care and the thoughtfulness… it’s just been really wonderful,” she said.
The two have been together for more than a year.
