Miley Cyrus is back.
The 30-year-old pop star is staging a comeback with her upcoming new single titled “Flowers.” And what’s more is that her new track will be released on a very important day for her ex, Liam Hemsworth.
Miley, who has been teasing the launch of a new era for a while now, confirmed that the ball will start rolling just a few days into 2023. She revealed that “Flowers” is set to arrive on January 13 — which just happens to be Liam’s birthday.
Fans speculate that the timing of the release may be more than just coincidental because the lyrics seem to reference their on-and-off relationship which ended in divorce that was finalized in 2020.
In a teaser for the song that was posted to Instagram, Miley chants:
“I can love me better.”
