Miranda Lambert made headlines for her actions at her latest Las Vegas concert.

While there have been reports lately of artists experiencing uncomfortable and inappropriate moments on stage as fans threw things at them while performing, the 39-year-old country star’s show was disrupted for an entirely different reason. Miranda apparently drew her performance to a halt because of fans taking selfies instead of focusing their attention on her!

Reports have it that Miranda was performing “Tin Man” when the incident happened. She was just a few lyrics in when she stopped upon spotting a group of fans taking photos of themselves instead of listening to her song.

She reportedly declared:

‘I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry. These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song.”

Miranda went on to express her ire at what was going on:

“[It’s] pissing me off a little bit. Sorry, I don’t like it. At all.

We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country d**n music.”

After doing this, some fans apparently got up and left because of Miranda shaming the group who was taking selfies. In a video making the rounds on social media, one woman can be heard saying:

“Let’s go — you don’t do that to your fans.”

A woman who was part of the group Miranda called out has since aired her side, telling outlets:

“She said these girls are more interested in taking selfies and then she said sit down. I thought, I feel like I’m being back in school and my friends did something that annoyed the teacher and she scolded us so she told us to sit down.

Everybody was having such a great time. We would stand up at times and dance. It was great energy. But after that happened it was just, um, it was not the same.”
