Can’t get enough of Noah Centineo? The 22-year-old heartthrob is currently filming To All The Boys 2, but Netflix has yet to announce release date for the highly-anticipated sequel.
Lucky for all Noah fans out there, you can still get your fix – coz he’s starring in the new Netflix teen rom-com The Perfect Date!
This time, Noah plays a not-so-cool but uber-smart high school guy named Brooks Rattigan. Being paid to pose as someone’s faux boyfriend sparked an idea – he could make money from being someone’s fake date! This prompted him to create an app (along with his bestie Murph, played by Odiseas Georgiadis) and offer his services as the ultimate fake date, and takes on different personas while he’s at it – like a snobbish art guy, an ’80s dance party-goer, a cowboy, a salsa dancer and more!
Don’t you just wish his role will be for real? He’s not the Internet’s boyfriend for nothing!
The Perfect Date is now streaming on Netflix.
If you still can’t get enough of Noah, he’ll be hitting the big screen this year, too – in the upcoming Charlie’s Angels movie, alongside Elizabeth Banks, Patrick Stewart, Djimoun Hounsou, Jonathan Tucker, Sam Claflin, and Luis Gerardo Mendez, with Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska, starring as the new generation of Angels.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Elizabeth Banks, who’s also directing the film, wouldn’t give too much away about the TATBILB star’s role in the movie. Just that “he’s a friend mostly to Naomi’s character.”
But according to Elizabeth, audiences can expect to see a lot of teamwork, action, undercover assignments, and girl power to be at the forefront.
“It’s a really exciting moment for female-driven films,” she says. “Audiences are really looking for those aspirational stories about real and relatable characters, and I think the women in my movie are definitely real and relatable, but most importantly, I think they’re really fun.”
Charlie’s Angels will hit theaters on November 15.
