Dinah Jane is delighting fans with back-to-back releases.
Dinah has a new song out called “Pass Me By,” which dropped earlier this week.
After the song’s release, the former Fifth Harmony member went on social media to give fans a little background about her new single. “I still can’t believe I’m sharing this one with y’all. it cuts deep and is super personal,” she wrote on Twitter.
Just one day after dropping her latest track, Dinah again delighted fans by dropping her debut EP Dinah Jane 1.
The young artist has a knack for taking serious topics and turning them into catchy songs – think old-school R&B, but club-remixed. The three-track EP features songs about love (“Pass Me By”), listening to the same old thing (“Heard It All Before”), and family issues (“Fix It”).
“I’m so much of a closed book. I do not want anyone knowing what’s going on in my life,” Dinah shared in an interview with Billboard about her new music. “I’m very private and to myself, but I found out that expressing my story and what I’ve gone through is so much easier to come out through my music. It was very therapeutic, and in making these records, I found so much comfort and such relief. I feel so relieved just getting this all off my chest.”
