New details have emerged from court documents filed by Angelina Jolie’s lawyers on the abuse allegations against Bad Pitt.
The allegations made date back to that airplane incident back in 2016 that has been in the news for years and coincided with the shocking separation of the former A-list couple after 12 years together.
While some details have already become public knowledge, the countersuit documents revealed more information on what exactly happened on that plane between Brad and Angelina, and contained abuse allegations involving their six children: Maddox, now 21, Pax, now 18, Zahara, now 17, Shiloh, now 16, and twins Vivienne and Knox, now 14.
According to the documents viewed by the New York Times, Brad allegedly “choked one of the children and struck another in the face.” He also “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her.”
The incident is said to have begun when Brad accused Angelina of being “too deferential” to their kids. He then is said to have followed her to the bathroom, where he “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her, then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall.
Pitt then punched the ceiling of the plane numerous time, prompting Jolie to leave the bathroom.”
The documents stated:
“He poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children.”
Angelina’s legal team recounted what Brad allegedly did to his children:
“When one of the children verbally defended Jolie, Pitt lunged at his own child and Jolie grabbed him from behind to stop him.
To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats injuring Jolie’s back and elbow. The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other.
Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened. Many were crying.”
Her lawyers went on to state:
“[Brad was ] physically and emotionally abuse. She has gone to great lengths to try to shield their children from the pain Pitt inflicted on the family that day.
But when Pitt filed this lawsuit seeking to reassert control over Jolie’s financial life and compel her to rejoin her ex-husband as a frozen-out business partner, Pitt forced Jolie to publicly defend herself on these issues for the first time.”
Brad’s rep released a statement after these new details went public, saying:
“[Jolie’s] story continues to evolve each time she tells it with new, unsubstantiated claims. Brad has accepted responsibility for what he did but will not for things he didn’t do.
These new allegations are completely untrue.”
