Nick Jonas was reportedly rushed to the hospital in an ambulance over the weekend.
According to TMZ, Nick was shooting a super secret project on Saturday (May 15) – it’s so secret, even sources aren’t dishing on the name of the project. While filming the show, something happened on set and Nick happened to be there, and reportedly got injured.
Again, no one is spilling on what kind of accident or injury it was. But, per the outlet, “it was serious enough that he was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.”
Nick reportedly spent the night at the hospital, but sources say he has since been released and is back home by Sunday night. Hopefully, he’s feeling well enough to be on The Voice live show on Monday (May 17).
Fingers-crossed he’ll also spill the tea on what happened and what he’s working on – but if it’s this super secret right now, might not be a good idea to hold your breath.
But Nick’s got another big gig coming up – he’s set to host the 2021 Billboard Music Awards this Sunday (May 23).
He announced his hosting gig with hilarious skit about accepting “the pre-emptive Best Host Ever award” posted on social media last month, writing, “Truly an honor to have already received the first preemptive 2021 #BBMAs award. Best host ever?! Wow!”
Fun fact: The BBMAs are older than Nick – he’s 28, and the awards show launched 30 years ago. And he will be one of only five people to host the show solo, joining the ranks of Kelly Clarkson, Phil Collins, LL Cool J, and Ludacris.
Hope he’ll be A-okay by then. Wishing Nick a speedy recovery!
