Congratulations are in order for Offset and Cardi B!
The couple shared some exciting news on Monday (September 6): “We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son. He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”
Cardi also shared their baby news on Instagram, sharing a sweet family photo from the hospital bed. The proud mom sat up underneath a Louis Vuitton blanket holding her newborn in her arms as she and hubby Offset look lovingly at their little bundle of joy, simply captioned, “9/4/21đŚđđ§¸.”
Offset later shared another photo of himself lying on a cot in Cardiâs hospital room as he cradled his youngest son on his chest. âChapter 5,â he wrote on the photo.
Cardi and Offset are already parents to three-year-old daughter Kulture; the Migos rapper is also dad to three other children from previous relationships â six-year-old daughter Kalea, 6, as well as two sons, six-year-old Kody, and 11-year-old Jordan.
In June, the couple surprised fans when Cardi appeared onstage at the BET Awards to join Migos for a performance showing off her baby bump. The âInvasion of Privacyâ rapper also shared photos from her maternity shoot on Instagram just as she stepped out onstage, writing, “#2! âĽď¸.”
Cardi later revealed that she was already pregnant when she performed at the GRAMMYs alongside Doja Cat â sheâd been experiencing pregnancy symptoms a couple of weeks before rehearsals.
They soon confirmed it with a pregnancy test. As for their reaction to the news, “We just started laughing like, ‘Lord, we have so much to do,’ ” Cardi recalled during an interview on the live radio app Stationhead in July.
But she was definitely excited for her baby on the way, sharing, “There is something so dear about this pregnancy and I feel like I’m starting a new chapter, and I’m happy about that.”
