Olivia O’Brien is changing her tune.
The 22-year-old singer is clarifying statements that she made about Pete Davidson during a recent interview.
In case you didn’t know, in an appearance on BFF’s with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Brianna Chickenfry podcast, she was asked about Pete, to which she confirmed she once dated the former SNL comedian. She said she did not think “anyone knew about that” and shared her side of the story, saying that they dated in October 2020.
A rep for Pete then responded to her comments, stating that there was absolutely no truth to Olivia’s statements.
Now, Olivia seems to be backtracking on her comments. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she declared:
“News outlets are taking things I said in an interview (after being asked a VERY specific question) wayyy out of context.
I never claimed to date anyone.”
She stressed her point further, stating:
“Stop trying to start weird drama over me texting someone 2 years ago. Jesus Christ.
Watch the f—king interview or shut your god d*mn mouth @/ all the news outlets posting fake stories about me.”
