New couple alert!?
Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles are majorly sparking dating speculations after they were spotted holding hands while attending a wedding over New Year’s weekend.
In photos published by Page Six, the maybe-couple was snapped arriving hand-in-hand at the wedding venue in San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California – Harry was also carrying what looks like a tumbler of alcohol in his other hand. The Fine Line singer looked dashing in a black suit and the actress wore a flowy floral maxi dress to the event.
According to a source, they’ve apparently been dating for a few weeks!
“They were in Montecito, California this weekend for a wedding,” a source told People. “They were affectionate around their friends, held hands and looked very happy. They have dated for a few weeks.”
So, how did this rumored romance get started? Well, it most likely developed sometime in the past few months – Olivia and Harry worked together on the upcoming psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling, which also stars Florence Pugh, Chris Pine, and Gemma Chan. Olivia is both directing and starring in the film, and she previously revealed to Vogue that she wanted to cast Harry in it after seeing him in Dunkirk.
A source told the Daily Mail that over the course of working together, the two had grown close. “Olivia and Harry have become close and the pair have been spending a lot of time together in recent weeks. She has been seen visiting his home on several occasions,” the source told the outlet.
Olivia is also one of the celebrities who jumped to Harry’s defense when someone criticized Harry’s Vogue cover photo.
ICYMI, Olivia and ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis split in November – however, they appear to be friendly exes.
A source told Entertainment Tonight at the time that there’s no drama. “There was absolutely no drama or scandal, they just didn’t work as a couple anymore,” the source told the outlet.
“They adore each other and have nothing but the utmost respect for one another,” the source added. “They will continue to be each other’s biggest supporters, especially when it comes to parenting their children and their careers. They see each other all the time still.”
The former couple, who share two children together – son Otis and daughter Daisy – were even photographed hugging in December. They were also seen reconnecting when she visited his home in Los Angeles on Monday (January 4), AFTER photos of her and Harry holding hands surfaced.
Harry has been romantically linked to older women in the past – including the late Caroline Flack back in 2011 (at the time, he was 17 and she was in her early 30s) and Nicole Scherzinger when he was 19 and she was 35. His most recent ex-girlfriend, Camille Rowe, is also four years his senior.
So far, neither Harry nor Olivia have addressed the dating rumors.
