Orlando Bloom is sharing baby updates!

Orlando and fiancée Katy Perry welcomed daughter Daisy Dove Bloom in August. He appeared on Ellen Wednesday (October 7) and opened up about their first weeks with their new baby.

The couple haven’t shared photos of Daisy’s face, so fans have been wondering who the baby girl takes after – which, Ellen asked. According to Orlando, she’s a mix of three members of their family.

“My little mini-me, slash mini my mom, slash mini-Katy,” he revealed.

However, the 43-year-old actor admitted that he and Katy were “a little bit confused” because it’s like Daisy’s looks continue to change since she arrived.

“It was funny because when she first came out I was, ‘Oh it’s me, it’s a mini-me!’ Then fortunately she got those Katy blues, which was perfect,” he recalled. But then, Daisy started looking more like his mom, Sonia.

“Katy’s breastfeeding this mini-me slash my mom,” he awkwardly shares. “Who’s she gonna look like next?”

But he says he seems to be “scoring daddy points” with his newborn daughter for doing this one thing every morning.

“I would wake up in the morning and [chant], which is what I do anyway every morning,” the doting dad told the host. “So now, I walk into the room and [Daisy] hears my voice and she sort of soothes a bit. She likes it, she responds very nicely.”

“Katy’s a bit like, ‘Whaa?!’ It’s like I’m a baby whisperer!” he added.

And, they’re also counting this huge “blessing” as new parents.

“She’s sleeping, like, from nine to six, it’s unbelievable, nine until seven, which is a blessing,” he gushed.

Daisy is Katy’s first child – Orlando is also dad to nine-year-old Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Katy has kept fans updated on her journey as a new mom on Twitter. She recently shared that their little bundle of joy is “just starting to show her smile,” and also admitted she doesn’t even know “what day of the week it is.”

With American Idol auditions kicking off, she’s back at work – but while she’s excited to inspire another round of hopefuls to go after their dreams, she also admitted that being away from her baby girl is “hard”

“It’s amazing. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and for this job, and to be able to continue to inspire other people to go after their dreams,” Katy told Entertainment Tonight. “I mean, my life just feels very full and whole. And you know, it’s hard a little bit these first couple of days away and not being able to be there.”

Fortunately, Orlando’s got things covered.

“But Daddy’s doing a great job. Daddy has stepped in,” Katy added. “I’ve seen the Bjorn on him, I’ve seen him with the bottle, I’ve seen all the pictures. It’s all good.”

Last month, Katy shared that her experience has already taught her some pretty valuable lessons about being a mom.

“Popular misconception: being a mom isn’t a full-time job,” Katy tweeted Thursday (September 24).

She also shared her thoughts on maternity leave. “Part 2: when a mom finally goes back to work (whatever profession they do) it’s not like they been coming from months of ‘time off…’ she’s coming from a full-time job… of being a mom, lol,” she continued.

It appears the new mom also gained a deeper appreciation for moms everywhere and wants to advocate this for mother in the workforce: “Part 3: call your mom and tell her you love and appreciate her and advocate for paid family leave!”

As for having how she feels about her new “full-time job,” she concluded her tweets with, “Part 4. I love my job.”
