Pete Davidson has had enough of the constant scrutiny surrounding his love life. The SNL alum, 31, opened up about the toll media attention has taken on him, calling it “humiliating” and “upsetting.”

In an interview with Page Six, Davidson addressed the relentless coverage of his high-profile relationships, which have included Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Kaia Gerber, and Madelyn Cline.

“It was pretty humiliating and upsetting, honestly. Everyone is dating everyone and it’s Hollywood. Look at Paul Mescal, Timmy [Chalamet], Barry Keough,” he said. “But because I’m ugly, they wrote about me. I was harassed for like five years and it made my life a living hell.”

Davidson also expressed frustration that his career achievements often took a backseat to his dating history. “It’s embarrassing because you want people to write about your work. I was one of the youngest ever cast members on SNLand all that got pushed to the side because of who I was dating.”

Having recently ended his relationship with Cline, Davidson revealed he is now focusing on himself. Looking back, he has no hard feelings towards any of his exes. “I’ve had some pretty adult relationships with some pretty amazing women, and when it’s ended it’s been cool.”

As for Ariana Grande, he said their dynamic remains amicable. “When we see each other, which is few and far between, because we’re not in the same circles, it’s all love,” he shared. “I hope she wins the Oscar, I hope she takes the gold.”

With Grande receiving an Oscar nomination for Wicked, Davidson’s well wishes show there’s no lingering drama between them—just mutual respect.
