Chrissy Tiegen is here to set the record straight for all the non-believers out there.
Over a month after having her breast implants removed, the 34-year-old model has been facing doubts from some fans about whether or not she actually went through with it. Even after sharing a bunch of fun peeks into her surgical journey (such as a note from her daughter, “have fun pulling your boobies out!”), some people have still stubbornly refused to believe her implants have been taken out.
Well, Chrissy ain’t having it.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Chrissy posted a video of herself in a yellow bikini with the top pulled up to show the bottom of her boobs. The fresh surgical scars can visibly be seen vertically on the lower part of her breasts.
She made her reason clear as to why she was posting that video:
“A few of my friends keep having to tell people that I really got my implants out, ‘cause no one believes it.
These are the scars.”
She also shared a more graphic peek into her surgery, with a photo taken from the operating room right after she was stitched up by her plastic surgeon. Along with the photo, she wrote:
“Trust me lol.”
In May, Chrissy announced that she would be undergoing surgery to remove her breast implants, which she got at age 20. She wrote on Instagram:
“A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!
They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie!”
Chrissy being Chrissy, she went on to share how cool she is with her decision:
“Don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have my boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”
Earlier in the year, she shared more details as to why she was planning on having her implants removed. In an interview for Glamour UK, she said:
“It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.”
She candidly concluded:
“I think you’re supposed to replace every 10 years. But when you have kids, you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, ‘This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.”
After her operation, Chrissy shared about the procedure:
“Surgery went perfectly!”
And you look beautiful as always, Chrissy! Your body, your rules!
