Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie, is already a year old! And the Sussexes are celebrating his first birthday, which is on Wednesday (May 6), by giving back.
The Duchess of Sussex read a story for charity – the beloved children’s story, Duck! Rabbit! – with her adorable baby boy helping turn the page. The rare video featured Archie front and center, sitting on Meghan’s lap as she read him the story, showing off some of his uber cute toddler antics on camera.
The precious clip, which was shot by proud dad, Prince Harry, who was cheering from behind the scenes,
was posted on Save The Children’s Instagram account and shared on Save With Stories Instagram as well.
The sweet story time is part of Save The Children’s “Save With Stories” campaign, where celebrities read stories on camera and urge fans to donate to the organization and support food banks, and mobile meal trucks, and community feeding programs.
The Sussexes are currently quarantining in Los Angeles, where they have relocated since stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family.
Although they may be faraway, Archie got a lot of love from his dad’s side of the family on his special day.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, Archie’s uncle and aunt, wished him a happy birthday on their Instagram account, Kensington Palace. They posted a group portrait from his christening, writing, “Wishing Archie a very happy first birthday today! 🎈“
Prince Charles also greeted his grandson on his special day, “🎈A very Happy Birthday to Archie, who turns one today. This photo of Archie and his grandfather was taken following his christening in July 2019,” the Clarence House account captioned a black and white photo of Prince Charles, Prince Harry and baby Archie.
And Queen Elizabeth II also got in on the action, sharing a throwback photo of Her Majesty meeting her great-grandson days after his birth. “Happy Birthday to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor who is celebrating his 1st birthday today! 🎈🎉 Archie is The Queen’s eighth great-grandchild,” the caption reads.

Elon Musk and Grimes (real name: Claire Boucher) welcomed their first child together on Monday (May 4) – a “happy, health & cute as a button” baby boy.
“Mom & baby all good,” Elon tweeted on Monday evening.
The Tesla founder later revealed their son’s unusual name – X Æ A-12 Musk, which Grimes explained to mean the following: X stands for “the unknown variable,” while Æ is “my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence). The A-12 refers to an aircraft which is the “precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent.” Elon made a teeny tiny correction on the aircraft, writing: “SR-71, but yes.”
The proud dad also shared a photo of him cradling his newborn son.
The couple, who have been dating since 2018, announced the pregnancy news in January. This is Grimes’ first child. Elon is already dad to five children with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson.
