Ahead of his much-anticipated sit-down interview with Oprah, Prince Harry took some time to take in the sights and sounds of Los Angeles with fellow Brit James Corden.

Making a surprise appearance on The Late Late Show, the Duke of Sussex and James drove around the city tourist style – on a double-decker open-top bus! The two even enjoyed some refreshments along the way, having tea on the 405…which later turned out to be a not-so-good idea.

Their first stop? The house from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air – which, Prince Harry apparently watched when he was growing up – and he ended up taking a bathroom break in the stately mansion.

During the segment, Meghan made a brief cameo via video call, during which her cute nickname for her hubby was revealed – she calls him “Hars.”

Prince Harry also got candid about what dating is like as a member of the royal family, which, apparently is “kind of flipped upside down.”
“All the dates become dinners, or watching TV or chatting at home. And eventually, once you become a couple, then you venture out to dinners, to the cinema and everything else,” he explained.

“So everything was done back-to-front with us,” Harry said, talking about his and Meghan’s courtship.

“So we got to spend an enormous amount of time just the two of us,” he continued. “Rather than going to friends’ houses or out to a dinner where there were other distractions. There were no distractions, and that was great. It was an amazing thing. We went from zero to 60 in the first two months.”

He also shared some adorable updates about their son, Archie.

“My son is now just over a year and a half and he is hysterical. He’s got the most amazing personality,” Harry said. “He’s already putting three, four words together, he’s singing songs.”

And as for his and Meghan’s decision to step away from their royal roles, “We all know what the British press can be like, and it was destroying my mental health. I was like, ‘This is toxic,'” Harry shared.

“So I did what any husband and any father would do… but we never walked away, and as far as I’m concerned, whatever decisions are made on that side, I will never walk away,” he continued. “I will always be contributing. But my life is public service.”

He also shared some insight into the age-old question of what the royals think of The Crown.

“They don’t pretend to be news, it’s fictional. But it’s loosely based on the truth. Of course it’s not strictly accurate, but loosely,” Harry said. “It gives you a rough idea about what the lifestyle, what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that.”

“I’m way more comfortable with The Crown than I am seeing the stories written about my family, or my wife, or myself,” he added. “Because it’s the difference between, [The Crown] is obviously fiction, take it how you will, but [the tabloid stories] are being reported on as fact, because you’re supposedly news. I have a real issue with that.”

As for who he’d like to play him if the series catches up to the present day, he suggested Billions and Homeland star Damian Lewis.
It’s still unclear when the segment was taped, but it may have gone down before the Sussexes announced that they were expecting their second child on Valentine’s Day because the topic didn’t come up.
