Rachel Bilson is speaking out about her professional life.
The 41-year-old actress got very real about losing a job because of candid comments she made about sex.
Rachel said she feels like she did not say anything inappropriate despite freely speaking about sex on a podcast.
In a recent episode of her Broad Ideas podcast, Rachel stated:
“This is the first time it’s ever happened to me in my professional life that I lost a job this week because of things that were said.
A job got taken away from me because I was speaking candidly and openly about sex in a humorous way on our friend’s podcast. I basically got a job, that I already had, pulled from me because I was speaking openly about sex.”
In case you missed it, Rachel admitted on prior podcast episode that she did not have an orgasm from sexual intercourse until she was older:
“Never had it in my life until I turned 40… But I could do it with my hands.”
She explained that she could have it on her own but “not like, with d—k inside.”
On the Woman on Top podcast also recently, she talked about various sex positions and at one point said that she likes being “manhandled”.
Now on her podcast she clarified:
“I haven’t said anything inappropriate. Choice of language, if I could go back, now knowing I lost a job, maybe I would say it differently.
But I still wouldn’t not say it.”
