Over the weekend, Riri and her billionaire boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, made headlines with multiple reports saying that they’ve called it quits. Us Weekly was first to report the news.
Fans have been legit freaking out over the break up news – but, Rhi looked cool as ever when she was spotted at JFK airport in New York City on Thursday (January 16).
ICYMI, Rhi has been low-key dating the Saudi businessman for almost three years. They’ve been so good at keeping it on the DL that there’s ALMOST no photos of them out in public (there was that uber rare sighting of the two of them at a Lakers game though, and that time they were on a low-key vacay in Italy).
So far, there’s been no news on when it happened, how it happened, and why it happened. Just a few months ago, Rihanna finally confirmed she was in an “exclusive relationship” after being romantically linked with Hassan for years, and was even talking about wedding dresses to Vogue.
“I’m actually in an exclusive relationship for quite some time, and it’s going really well, so I’m happy,” she said at the time.
But being that Rhi keeps her personal life super private, not really sure if she’s going to comment on the reports.
Hours after news of their split broke, Rhianna was spotted at the 2020 Yams Day Benefit Concert in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday (January 17) – and was seen laughing backstage with A$AP Rocky.
The event, which honors A$AP Yams after he passed in 2015, is to help raise money for Always Strive and Prosper Foundation – a charity established by Yams’ mom to aid young people struggling with substance abuse.
