After months of dating speculations, Rita Ora and Taika Waititi appear to be going public with their rumored relationship.
Over the Fourth of July weekend, Rita hosted a barbecue celebration. Some of the singer’s famous friends at the event include Anya Taylor Joy, Jodie Smith, Joshua Jackson, Ashley Benson, Vas J Morgan and Kate Beckinsale.
She shared some photos from the event on her Instagram, writing, “Thank you to all my friends for coming to my @prosperotequila #July4th celebration.”
While photos of her and Taika did not make it on her feed, the two happily posed for photos for photographers.
In photos published by E! News, the pair sported colorful ensembles for the occasion – Rita in a white flowy dress with pink-and-gold print; Taika in a red, white and blue shirt with eagles on it.
Rita and Taika began sparking romance rumors during their time in Australia earlier this year – the director had been filming Thor: Love and Thunder Down Under and the singer had a coaching gig on The Voice Australia.
While the two are yet to officially announce their relationship status, they’ve been spotted out and about in public together on numerous occasions. The “Your For Me” singer has also been sharing sneaky pics of her rumored beau on her Instagram feed.
There’s one particular photo captured by paparazzi that went viral – Rita and Taika seemingly getting intimate with Thor: Love and Thunder star Tessa Thompson.
Taika recently addressed the viral photos in an interview. “I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick,” he told The Sydney Morning Herald. “And also, is it that big a deal?’ No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It’s fine.”
