Ryan Dorsey is remembering Naya Rivera.
The 39-year-old star took to social media to pay tribute to the Glee actress on what would have been her 36th birthday.
Ryan and Naya were once married and they shared a son, Josey. In 2020, Naya tragically passed away in a terrible accident while out on a boat with her son. She was 33.
On what would have been Naya’s 36th birthday, Ryan remembered his ex-wife in a touching post which he shared on social media. He took to Instagram to share three photos of Naya and Josey together, and wrote:
A little easier with each little bit of time that passes by to look at pictures… but I still don’t have the answers to the questions to the why’s our sweet boy asks from time to time.
I never will.”
He went on to share that he and Josey, 7, were “doing the best we can.” He wrote:
“Fly high.”
Ryan also included e simple and heartfelt note to anyone reading his message:
“If you’re reading this no matter what you’re going through, take a moment of gratitude that you’re still here on this ride.
I know some days are harder than others to get up, but we just gotta keep pushing onward.”
