Ryan Reynolds’ local pizza place apparently thinks that he is Ben Affleck — and he is totally cool with it!

The Red Notice actor revealed the mistaken identity going on with him in an eatery in New York’s East Village during an interview on the Dear Hank & John podcast. He hilariously shared:

“They believe I’m Ben Affleck and I’ve never corrected them. Years!

I feel it would not go over well if I revealed. They’re not giving me free pizza based on the fact. I do everything normal like everybody else.”

He added that they also ask about his “relationship,” stating:

“They’ll ask how J.Lo is and I go ‘great’ and just get my pizza and go off.”

The 45-year-old star jokingly went on to say he may be giving Ben a bad rep at the pizzeria:

“What I think makes it so believable is that I look so mildly put out… When I leave, I think they’re like, ‘I don’t think Ben Affleck is amused by us.’ I gotta be more chipper. I gotta take care of Ben.”

In the same podcast, Ryan also made the reveal that he gets mistaken for yet another fellow Hollywood leading man — fellow Canadian Ryan Gosling! He said that during the years he was more “fast and loose on Twitter,” one user asked how they can clarify the difference between Reynolds and Gosling, to which he had a NSFW reply:

“I said, and I would never say this today… ‘Ryan Gosling has blonde hair and Ryan Reynolds is a [beep].”

And he quipped that The Notebook, which starred Ryan Gosling, would have been massively different if he had been in the iconic role:

“No way, that would have failed horrendously. It would have been worse. I promise ou. It would have been unwatchable.”
