Apparently, having an owl in your life comes with hairballs – which is probably something Harry Styles didn’t know.
There are some celebs who keep some pretty cool pets – among them, Salma Hayek, who has an owl named Kering. (She’s got a ton of other animals, too, btw – dogs, alpacas, horses, bunnies, chickens, etc.)
And, according to Salma, her owl’s got some pretty interesting quirks – like perching on her head or trying to grab her toes when she’s sleeping because the owl thinks they’re mice, and, apparently, coughing up hairballs from time to time, too.
“There’s this ball of hair that comes out of their mouth,” she told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her talk show.
And it looks like Kering definitely made an unforgettable first impression on one of her celeb friends.
“One time there was a very important celebrity, I will not say his name, and he was really excited about the owl and was hoping that the owl would go on his head because it was on me. He was like, ‘I need an owl in my life. How do you do that?’” she explained.
“The minute he least expected it, he came on his head but then he did the thing and this thing came out, this ball of rat hair was on his head,” Salma continued.
OMG!
While a lot of people would definitely freak out about that, Salma assured the audiences, “He was OK. He was kinda cool.”
And just before the interview ended, Salma eventually revealed who it was – and how he reacted to the whole thing.
“Harry Styles,” Salma shared. “He was super cool, by the way. He was super cool, even with that happening. He’s so good. He’s the best.”
I think we can all agree with Salma on this: Harry is super cool.
