Sarah Hyland and Well Adams are husband and wife!
The 31-year-old former Modern Family actress and 38-year-old Bachelor In Paradise star tied the knot on Saturday in an intimate ceremony at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Barbara.
The couple began dating in 2017. They met for the first time just three days before Sarah underwent her second kidney transplant. The pair got engaged in July 2019, when Wells popped the question during a tropical vacation.
They postponed their wedding twice due to the coronavirus pandemic — and ended up celebrating their original wedding date back in August 2020 at a winery with friends. Shortly after that, Wells told ET he was hoping third time’s the charm for them, saying at the time:
“We kind of set up this big wedding. Then, it got postponed. So they, we set it up again. Then, it got postponed.
We’re kind of so committed that we’re like, ‘Well, we got to have the big wedding.’ And so, it’s coming.”
He jokingly went on:
“We have a lot of rich friends. We want them to give us gifts. So, we’re going to do it and hopefully it’s not going to get postponed again. Fingers crossed.”
In October 2021, Sarah and Wells celebrated their four-year anniversary and Sarah declared that she could not wait to wed her longtime love. She wrote on Instagram then:
“Four years of love, travel, laughter, and trust. You’re my world and beyond. One day we’ll get married… and I CAN NOT WAIT for that day. But for now… posing with canned seltzers is more than enough 😂 I’m so grateful to be able to call you my life partner and best friend. I love you +1 anything you say @wellsadams I am the luckiest ❤️.”
In June, they shared several gorgeous black and white engagement photos prior to their big day.
The wedding was a treat for Modern Family fans as many attended Sarah’s wedding to Wells. It was an adorable mini reunion, with Sofia Vergara, Nolan Gould, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Julie Bowen were among those in attendance.
