From Hellmouth to the wolf pack!
Sarah Michelle Gellar is heading back to television. The actress, who has cemented her place in pop culture royalty with her portrayal of the iconic Buffy Summers in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, is back in the realm of the supernatural. This time, she joins another show universe based on yet another cult favorite movie – Teen Wolf.
Sarah made a surprise appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con right at the and of the Teen Wolf panel in Hall H on Thursday to reveal that she is joining the Paramount+ spin-off as a star and executive producer of Wolf Pack.
Wolf Pack is a new series following a teenage boy and girl whose lives are changed forever when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural being. Sarah will play arson investigator Kristin Ramsey. Kristin is a highly regarded expert in her field and is familiar to personal loss. She is brought in to catch the arsonist who started the wildfire.
Teen Wolf mastermind Jeff Davis will write and executive produce the new show. The series is set to premiere later this year.
