Fans are freaking out over a sighting of Scott Disick and Sofia Richie together around Malibu, California on the Fourth of July.
According to the Daily Mail, the two grabbed lunch at Nobu restaurant before hitting up a friend’s low-key beach party.
Photos obtained by the outlet show the two arriving at the beach together – Sofia sporting a black and white sports bra and rolled up khaki cargo pants, and a black face mask. Scott also kept it casual in a navy tee and black shorts, with a matching navy cap on his head. The two were side-by-side as they trekked the sand barefoot on the way to the gathering. It’s reportedly the first time they’ve reunited since their reported break up in May.
ICYMI, towards the end of May, Us Weekly reported that the couple “are on a break” after nearly three years together.
A source also told E! that “They are technically ‘split’ but Sofia has been in touch with Scott,” adding that “it’s very likely they will reconcile.”
According to Page Six, the relationship “ran its course” and they are quarantining separately. Other factors also contributed to the breakup, including Scott’s “past traumas.”
“Scott had gone back to his old ways,” the source told the outlet, “and Sofia got fed up.”
In the weeks since the split, Scott and his ex, Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he shares three children – 10-year-old Mason, 7-year-old Penelope and 5-year-old Reign – began sparking reconciliation rumors when eagle-eyed fans noticed that the shirt Kourt was wearing in one of her photos on social media was actually Scott’s. Their social media interactions fueled speculations even more – including when Kourt paid tribute to Scott on Father’s Day, and Scott dropped a “cute shirt” comment in one of Kourt’s IG posts.
Meanwhile, Sofia was spotted hanging out with a mystery man. No Scott sightings in any of her recent outings either…until this weekend.
Fans are now wondering if the former couple are on the road to reconciling – or are maybe even already back together again.
Sofia’s recent Instagram post, captioned “Hoodies at the beach,” is also fueling speculations of a rekindled romance with Scott following their Fourth of July outing. She shared a photo of herself posing in a tie-dyed hoodie paired with bikini bottoms on the seashore. Apparently, the hoodie in question is from Scott’s clothing line, Talentless.
