Camila Cabello, who began practicing meditation in the past few months, continues to do so to help her “manage strong emotions like anxiety and stress.”
“Meditation is the practice of strengthening habits like empathy, love, and compassion- making you feel more connected to not only everybody around you , but living beings in general like animals, plants, and the earth, which is a living being, itself,” she explains in her Instagram post. “In times like these, especially as young people, even if we are healthy, it’s important to practice compassion and help others that could be suffering. We are in this together, let’s not be indifferent to others risk. it’s our responsibility to do whatever it takes to keep everyone safe. Empathy to others’ reality and solidarity could make the difference in hard moments like this.”
She also shares her technique:
- Close your eyes and sit with your spine upright and feel gravity grounding your body to the earth’s surface and supporting you.
- Take three deep breaths and then begin to just notice the natural flow of your breath. Being aware of breathing in, breathing out. Following every inhale and exhale with your attention.
- Once your mind has stilled. Picture every human in the world right now, elders, people that have respiratory problems and are vulnerable, picture the people that are vulnerable, picture their families, and say “May you be healthy. May you be safe. May you be free from illness. May you be well.”
- Repeat until you really feel it in your heart ❤️
Francia Raisa has been exercising at home – and has been sharing some of the routines she made up on Instagram.
Jessica Alba has been figuratively trying to “make lemonade out of lemons” with at-home facials (not using lemons) using ingredients that can be found in the kitchen.
The ingredients she used for the scrub and mask ingredients are:
- Instant Oatmeal,
- 🍯 Honey,
- Extra Fine Salt 🧂,
- Yogurt,
- Flax Seeds,
- 🥥 Coconut Oil
She also launched her own YouTube Channel so she could connect with others while staying at home.
“It’s important to mention that given the state of the COVID-19 outbreak, I think we should all have a healthy level of awareness and respect for this challenging experience we are facing,” she shared on her YouTube page. “However, I also want my channel to be a place for happiness and community as we explore fun and family moments while staying safe at home.”
Desi Perkins is passing the time tending to her garden.
“Gardening has been such a great escape for me. It truly feeds my soul. Especially now. The memories I’ve made in the garden with my family are some of my favorite. I can’t wait to continue to expand and learn more and more about gardening,” she shared.
