Sadly, it seems love is just not sweeter the second time around for Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers.
The couple, who were formerly engaged before they went their separate ways the first time around, appeared to have reconciled following their split. They were spotted getting affectionate various times last month.
Now, however, sources are saying that Shailene is “done” with Aaron.
An insider revealed that the two “are not together” after recent attempts to repair their erstwhile romance:
“Shailene tried to give it another shot and was spending time with Aaron. But she quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing was going to change.
There was no reason to continue and she’s done with it again.”
Just a few days ago, Aaron was seen with a model and a heiress at a basketball game.
After news broke that she and Aaron had split up again, Shailene took to social media to share a message about “grief.”
The 30-year-old actress shared this quote from author Martin Prechtel to her Instagram Stories:
“Grief expressed out loud for someone we have lost, or a country or home we have lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them. Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.
Seeing grief in this way helps us respect what we are going through, rather than being mired in shame and discouragement on top of the paint we already feel.”
