The drama surrounding Another Simple Favor just took another unexpected turn—this time, involving Sharon Stone.
After director Paul Feig shut down speculation about an alleged feud between the film’s stars, Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, Sharon made waves by revealing she had been cast in the highly anticipated sequel—only to have her role cut at the last minute.
The 67-year-old Oscar-nominated actress took to Instagram to air her grievances, commenting on an E! News post, “I LOVED being cast and removed from my role unexpectedly for no reason at all LOVED it 👏👏👏👏.”
Up until now, there had been no reports of Sharon being attached to the project, making her revelation all the more surprising. As of now, Feig has yet to respond to her claims, leaving fans wondering what role she was supposed to play—and why she was cut.
Despite the behind-the-scenes shakeups, Another Simple Favor is still on track for its May 1 release on Prime Video. But with all this off-screen drama, it’s clear the film is making headlines before it even hits our screens.
