French Montana has broken his silence on the shooting that happened on the set of his music video, injuring multiple people.
On Friday (January 6), the “Unforgettable” rapper took to social media to speak out about what unfolded on Thursday night as he and rapper Rob49 were filming a music video. French Montana revealed on Twitter that he “was in Miami celebrating the release of my CB6 mixtape w/ friends at a local restaurant.”
He said that what happened was “unfortunately” being “at the wrong place, at the wrong time when an incident took place that left people hurt.”
Outlets reported that at least 10 people were shot on set in Miami Gardens, Florida, including Rapper Rob49, who was immediately take to the hospital. It was also reported that federal agents from ATF and the U.S. Marshal’s Office were on scene with K-9 units the following day.
An eyewitness named Ced Mogul said to CBS News:
“When we heard the gunshots, people started running, some people had blood on their shirts, some people were crying on the ground. It’s just tragic.”
