
South Korean star Lee Jihan was among the 154 lives lost during the tragic crowd surge in Itaewon. The singer and actor was just 24 years old.
On Saturday (October 29), there was a deadly crowd surge that occurred in a narrow alley in the town of Itaewon in Seoul. Over 150 lives were lost in the tragedy, which also left more than 150 people injured.
Lee Jihan’s two agencies, 935 Entertainment and 9Ato Entertainment, confirmed the sad news. A statement read:
“Actor Lee Jihan… has become a star in the sky and left us.”
The young star computer on Produce 101 during its second season in 2017. He made his acting debut on Today Was Another Nam Hen Day back in 2019.
