Romy Croquet is going viral on social media for hilarious content she posted.
The 16-year-old daughter of Oscar-winning filmmaker Sofia Coppola exploded on TikTok this week after making videos about nepotism and being grounded.
She started a video by saying:
“Make a vodka sauce pasta with me because I’m grounded.”
In the now-deleted video, of which copies are spreading around on Twitter, she hilariously said:
“I tried to charter a helicopter from New York to Maryland on my dad’s credit card because I wanted to have dinner with my camp friend.”
As she tried to make the pasta, she said she doesn’t know the difference between onions and garlic and had to look up images of onions on Google. She then went on:
“Also, I thought I would do this since I’m already grounded because my parents biggest rule is like, I’m not allowed to have any public social media accounts. Here’s why.”
She picked up a Grammy Award and showed it off. And then she stated:
“They don’t want me to be a nepotism kid, but TikTok is not gonna make me famous, so it doesn’t really matter.”
Romy introduced her babysitter’s boyfriend with these hilarious words:
“My parents are never home so these are my replacement parents.”
Romy’s father is Thomas Mars, lead singer of indie pop band Phoenix.
