Spencer Pratt and Bethany Frankel apparently have one thing in common: Both have had less than favorable encounters with Lisa Kudrow.
Recently, the 39-year-old The Hills star took to TikTok to reveal that the 59-year-old actress was “one of the worst humans I’ve ever come in contact with.”
Bethany was quick to agree with what Spencer said. The 51-year-old took to his comments section to write that she also had a “crazy experience” with Lisa.
On Saturday (September 3), Spencer and Bethany both shared videos in which they shared their issues with Lisa.
Spencer said:
“The year was 2009. Heidi [Montag] and I were invited to our first A-list, elite party. It was clear when we got there that nobody wanted us there. It was almost like we were filming for Punk’d and a hidden camera was going to pop out.
But Heidi and I didn’t care. There was delicious food, and open bar, and beautiful views of the Malibu ocean.”
He went on, referring to Lisa by her character’s name on Friends as he recounted:
As we were sitting there, enjoying some caviar, Phoebe approaches. Right in front of me, she tells Heidi to get away from me as fast as possible, ’cause I’m gonna murder Heidi… and I have the eyes of a serial killer. Heidi waits to see if it’s a joke. Maybe this is a bit? But there are no laughs, and she just walks away.
And that right there was the rudest moment I’ve ever encountered with a human being. So… yeah. There you go.”
For her part, Bethany stated about Lisa:
“When she was on my talk show, she stood out to me as the person who wanted to be there the least of anyone the entire run. It was almost like I’d walked up to her at the supermarket to interview her, and she was like ‘what?’
I was asking her very normal, basic questions. You could tell that she just didn’t want to be there. Which does make two of us.”
She concluded by saying:
“I’m sure Lisa Kudrow is a lovely person, and she is a wonderful actress. I am by no means piling on her. She just didn’t want to be interviewed… which does get in the way of an interview.”
