More and more Hollywood stars are jetsetting again – but it looks like not all trips go according to plan.

Earlier this week, reports came out that Stephen Amell was allegedly kicked off a Delta flight leaving Texas that he and wife Cassadra Jean were on. He had reportedly gotten into an argument with his wife and allegedly had to be forcibly removed.

According to a Delta spokesperson, via Entertainment Tonight, “Delta flight 966 on June 21 took a brief, eight minute departure delay after an unruly customer was deplaned from the aircraft prior to departure in Austin. The flight arrived ahead of schedule at Los Angeles International Airport.”

Stephen went on Twitter to set the record straight about reports that he had been “forcibly removed.”

“My wife and I got into an argument Monday afternoon on a Delta flight from Austin to LA. I was asked to lower my voice and I did. Approximately 10 minutes later I was asked to leave the flight. And I did so immediately. I was not forcibly removed,” he wrote.

“I rebooked myself on a Southwest flight 2 hours later and traveled home without any further issue. I let my emotions get the better of me, end of story,” he continued, adding, “Must be a slow news cycle,”.

Stephen and Cassandra were in Austin, Texas to attend the ATX Festival. The couple, who have been married since 2012, were promoting their project together, Speech & Debate: Legacy – which Cassandra directed and Stephen starred in.

Cassandra went on Instagram to share a photo from the event, which she captioned, “We had a pretty good time @atxfestival. Head to @speechanddebate.film to grab your pass and catch up on all three episodes!”
