Suki Waterhouse is having some fun with her famous friends, and her fiancé Robert Pattinson isn’t exempt from her playful pranks!

The 32-year-old actress, singer, and model participated in Elle’s “Phoning It In” video series, where she prank-called some of the closest people in her life. During the segment, Suki dialled up her dad, her close friends Zoë Kravitz and Camila Morrone, and even her fiancé, The Batman star Robert Pattinson.

The prank that caught everyone’s attention? Suki telling Rob that they were going to be the new co-hosts of Netflix’s popular reality show Love is Blind! And, as you might expect, Rob’s reaction was nothing short of hilarious.

The call began innocently enough, with Suki starting off by saying, “You know that show, Love is Blind?” She continued, “Yeah, I just got offered to be the host for Love is Blind. Isn’t that so cool?”

Rob, however, seemed a bit confused. “Which one is Love is Blind again?” he asked, not quite recalling the details of the show.

Suki, ever the smooth talker, explained it with a bit of flair. “We watched it a while ago, and they’re like, oh, are you my type? Are you my type?” she said, clearly referencing the format of the show where couples meet and get engaged without ever seeing each other. She added, “It’s quite deep, though. It has quite a lot of, I don’t know. I feel like it’s a sociological experiment. It’s actually quite beautiful in lots of ways.”

Rob responded, amused but still processing the unexpected news. “Interesting, what an interesting turn of events,” he said.

But Suki wasn’t done yet. She took the prank up a notch by suggesting that Rob join her as co-host. “I just feel like it would be quite a good thing to do, but also, they were saying, we could do it together as well, which I thought actually could be quite good.”

At this point, Rob’s patience seemed to waver as he responded, “…Have you gone mad?”

Suki, still fully committed to the joke, tried to convince him a bit more, “But don’t you think it would be quite good for us? Like it’d be great for you.”

Finally, Rob seemed to catch on, but he wasn’t entirely sure what was happening. “Are you joking?” he asked, still sounding confused. “Is this whole thing a joke?”

At last, Suki couldn’t keep the charade going any longer. She admitted, “Yes, it’s a joke!” And though Rob sounded relieved, he also asked, “Wait, I’m not on some TV show, am I?”

Suki quickly assured him, “No, you’re not on TV. You are gonna be on the internet, though.”

Cue Rob’s immediate reaction: “No! I don’t want to!” he exclaimed, much to Suki’s amusement as she laughed at his response.

The playful back-and-forth between the two was all in good fun, and it gave fans a rare glimpse into their humorous relationship. The couple, who are notoriously private about their relationship, showed off their natural chemistry and shared sense of humor in this prank.

While Robert Pattinson may not be signing up to host Love is Blind anytime soon, Suki’s lighthearted prank definitely brought a few laughs and left fans delighted by their sweet dynamic. For now, it looks like these two will be sticking to their day jobs – acting – but who knows? Maybe we’ll see them sharing the screen in a new way in the future.
