Sydney Sweeney has reportedly put her wedding plans on hold amid ongoing relationship troubles with fiancé Jonathan Davino. The couple, who have been together since 2018 and engaged since 2022, were set to marry this May—but sources now claim that the wedding has been postponed indefinitely.

Speculation about the status of their relationship first sparked when the Euphoria actress, 27, quietly deleted a New Year’s Eve photo of herself kissing Davino, 41, from Instagram earlier this week. Fans quickly noticed the missing image, fueling breakup rumors.

A source close to the couple told MailOnline that while they haven’t officially split, things aren’t looking good. “Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully broken up,” the insider said. “Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”

While the couple hasn’t publicly addressed their relationship struggles, the insider claimed the decision to cancel the wedding wasn’t a mutual one. “Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn’t handle the stress,” they explained. “A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments.”

Sweeney has been one of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood, balancing major film projects like Anyone But Youand Madame Web, alongside her producing ventures. “Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project,” the source added. “People always speculate about her relationships with co-stars, which doesn’t make things easier.”

That scrutiny was especially heightened during the Anyone But You press tour in 2023, when rumors swirled about her chemistry with co-star Glen Powell. Powell later admitted that they played into the speculation to generate buzz for the film. Sweeney addressed the rumors during her Saturday Night Live monologue in early 2024, calling them “obviously not true.”

“Me and my fiancé produced the movie together, and he was there the entire shoot,” she said at the time. “And I just want to let everyone know that he’s the man of my dreams and we’re still together and stronger than ever.”

Despite those reassurances, the couple has seemingly struggled to find stability. Davino was last spotted at Sweeney’s Los Angeles home on March 13, but neither has been seen wearing their engagement ring in recent weeks. While there’s still a chance they could work things out, for now, wedding bells remain on pause.
