After months of speculation, multiple sources have confirmed that Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino have ended their relationship.
The Euphoria star, 26, and the businessman, 40, had been together since 2018 and got engaged in 2022. But after seven years, the couple decided to part ways earlier this year.
According to TMZ, “Sydney and Jonathan are not together romantically and haven’t been since January, when they separated.”
The last time the two were spotted together was in January in New York City. Soon after, reports surfaced that their planned May 2025 wedding had been postponed. Sydney also checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel alone for an extended stay, while Jonathan was seen overseeing the construction of the home they were building together.
Breakup rumors intensified when Sydney quietly deleted a photo of Jonathan from her Instagram.
A source told People that Sydney is throwing herself into work amid the split. “She’s exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects.”
The insider added, “What did make her overwhelmed though was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it.”
Sydney, who has been at the peak of her career, reportedly wants to focus on professional opportunities. “She’s not ready to settle down,” the source explained. “They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
