Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s baby girl, Daisy Bloom, just got a special gift from Taylor Swift – a hand embroidered silk blanket!
Katy gushed about the thoughtful gift on Instagram, sharing photos of the pink padded silk blanket personalized with hand-stitched embroidery, which includes a red flower and the words “Baby Bloom.”
“Miss 🌼🕊 adores her hand embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift 😩😩😩 hope it’s one she drags around for years till it becomes an unrecognizable shred that she keeps in her pocket as a teenager ♥️” Katy wrote in the caption.
The gift also came with a note from Taylor, where she shared that she had a similar blanket when she was young.
For years, Taylor and Katy were rumored to be beefing on the DL – so much so that there were speculations that Taylor’s 2014 hit “Bad Blood” is about Katy. In 2018, Katy sent Taylor a literal olive branch at the start of her Reputation Tour and, the next year, she made a cameo in Taylor’s “You Need To Calm Down” music video. And, well, a handcrafted gift from Tay is a huge deal.
It seems Taylor’s been making headlines for making her friends sweet handcrafted gifts – like that time when she made Ed Sheeran a needlepoint embroidery featuring a Drake quote: “Started from the bottom. Now we here,” which he shared in his 2014 documentary 9 Days and Nights of Ed Sheeran.
Katy and Orlando welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom in August. But Tay isn’t the only celebrity to send Katy and Orlando’s baby a gift.
Stars have been sending Katy sweet gifts to celebrate the arrival of their baby girl.
Beyonce sent a fabulous floral arrangement of white orchids, roses, and various other white blooms. The flowers, which were from Mark’s Garden, came with a card that reads, “Congratulations on the new addition to your family!”
Katy’s fellow American Idol judge, Lionel Richie, and his girlfriend Lisa Parigi, also sent an uber adorbs unicorn bathrobe for baby Daisy – and a bottle of Veuve Cliquot for the parents.
The “Firework” singer thanked them, writing, “Thank you uncle @lionelrichie & auntie @lisaparigi”
