Last week, news started swirling about Taylor Swift and Matty Healy being ‘madly in love.’ Shortly after, whispers that the two were going to make their relationship public at her Era’s Tour show in Nashville over the weekend.
Well, Taylor’s Nashville stop turned out to be pretty Matty-heavy, as it turns out!
On Friday (May 5) at the first Nashville show, Matty was spotted in a VIP section of the main venue! The following night, he hopped onstage with opening act Phoebe Bridgers and jammed out with the “Letter To An Old Poet” musician, making it the second consecutive night that Matty was present in Taylor’s shows.
While at her shows, Taylor’s friends – including Gigi Hadid – hung out with him and appeared to give him their sign of approval!
Not only that, Matty was seen heading out of Taylor’s Nashville home for a coffee run. He left with one of her bodyguards after having visited the night before.
Eagle-eyed fans have also caught Matty mouthing “This is about you, you know who you are, I love you” while on stage at a The 1975 show in the Philippines just before being sighted in Nashville. Taylor mouthed the exact same thing during Friday’s show – when Matty was in attendance for the first time!
And here’s the kicker: Taylor and Matty were also photographed together for the first time since the rumors started! The maybe-couple were pictured arriving to Taylor’s place at 12:30AM on Sunday morning after her Saturday night show. They were seated next to each other at the back seat of her SUV!
A source told outlets on Monday (May 8):
“Taylor and Matty like each other. Taylor has a crush on Matty and they are having a good time having out.
Matty also thinks Taylor is awesome and incredibly talented, too.”
The insider shared how they reconnected:
“Taylor and Matty have been hanging out recently and Jack Antonoff reconnected them.
They dated briefly in the past.”
