It was the reunion fandoms have been waiting for.
Almost a decade after they dated, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles reunited backstage at the 2021 Grammy Awards — and the Grammys have even released a video for our viewing pleasure and endless squeeing!
It was a big evening for both the 31-year-old Cardigan artist and the 27 year old Watermelon Sugar artist, made even more special because they shared a moment together at Music’s Big Night. The former couple, who were together back in late 2012, were spotted chatting and connecting during one of the show’s commercial breaks. In the video, the two could be seen taking off their masks and smiling and conversing for with each other for a few minutes!
What a sight to see. And it’s definitely giving us the warm and fuzzies.
If you can remember, it’s long been rumored that Harry is the inspiration for at least two songs on Taylor’s 2014 album 1989 — “Style” and “Out Of The Woods”.
It was truly a night to remember for these two talented artists, in more ways than one! Aside from their adorable reunion, both Harry and Taylor took to the stage to accept awards that evening.
This year’s awards show made Harry an official Grammy Award-winning artist! The former One Direction member turned solo artist won his first ever Grammy on Sunday. He was awarded the Best Pop Solo Performance Award for his song “Watermelon Sugar”. Earlier in the evening, he opened the show in a sexy performance of the track!
FUN FACT: Taylor was caught on camera clapping joyously for her former flame during his win! And social media can’t get enough of the super cute moment!
And Taylor had a very big moment of her own at the Grammys. Make that big, history-making moment! The multitalented artist won Album of the Year for Folklore that evening, and her win officially makes her the first female artist ever in Grammys history to win the Album of the Year award three times! Wow! She previously won the award for Fearless in 2010 and 1989 in 2016.
Taylor now has 11 Grammy awards!
