‘The Boys’ Actor Antony Starr Was Arrested in Spain For Assault

Antony Starr got into trouble with the law.

The 46-year-old actor, who plays Homeland on the hit series The Boys, was reportedly arrested in Alicante, Spain. He was given a suspended 12-month sentence. 

Reports say that he was arrested in the early morning of Wednesday (March 2) for an alleged assault that happened outside a Costa Blanca pub. 

A chef named Bathuel Araujo, 21, accused Antony of assaulting him. Batheul claimed that Antony was intoxicated and punched him, after which the actor smashed a glass in his face. Bethel was said to have been taken to a hospital, where his injuries required four stitches to the face. 

News outlets say that Antony admitted to the drunken assault in a very speedy trial after having spent two nights behind bars. He was then handed a 12-month suspended sentence. Antony was also ordered to pay restitution to Bathuell amounting to $5,464.97 within 72 hours. 

It is also being reported that in Spain, any sentence of under two years is automatically suspended provided the convicted offended does not have a criminal record. Antony does not have a record. 

He was reportedly in Spain working on an upcoming Guy Ritchie film starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
