The Try Guys are speaking out about Ned Fulmer’s scandal and his exit from the group.

The three remaining members of the popular group uploaded a new video on Monday (October 3) on YouTube titled “What Happened.” Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld, and Eugene Lee Yang spoke directly to their fans about the consensual workplace affair Ned had and how this impacts them as a group.

The popular content creators were very candid and raw in the video, saying they were “shocked” to learn about what Ned had been doing. Zach said:

“On Labor Day weekend, multiple fans alerted us that they had seen Ned and an employee engaging in public romantic behavior. We reached out to check on that employee. Ned confirmed the reports, and since confirmed that this had been going on for some time, which was obviously very shocking to us, and we just want you to know that we had no idea this was going on.

All of that information was just as shocking to us as all of this has been for you this week.”

Eugene revealed that a formal review was launched to make sure the group was “taking all necessary steps” in getting to the bottom of the scandal, stating that what Ned did was contrary to the beliefs and values of the group:

“We refused to sweep things under the rug. That is not who we are, and it’s not what we stand for.”

Ned was removed from work activities immediately, and soon after, he began to be edited out of pre-recorded videos, upcoming specials, and merchandise.

Zach said the group chose to not rush their announcement as there is a family at the center of the whole incident.

The Try Guys were visibly emotional, saying they are losing not just a colleague and someone they built a brand and company with for the past eight years, but also a friend. Keith said:

“I don’t know if we’ll ever be able to fully articulate the pain we feel at this moment. It’s hard to re-watch old videos that we love and are proud of. We’re losing a friend. We’re losing someone we built a company with; we have countless memories with — we just made a TV show together.

I’m sure many of you feel the same way. It’s weird. We’re sorry that this ever happened, it’s weird.”
