Lady Gaga can breathe a little easier now that her beloved furbabies are back home safe and sound.

ICYMI, last Wendesday (February 24), two of Gaga’s French Bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, were kidnapped – or, rather, dognapped – on Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood. The incident ended up getting pretty violent and her friend and dogwalker, Ryan Fischer, was shot and critically wounded. He was brought to the hospital after some of the neighborhood residents called 911, and is now, thankfully, in stable condition and, per Gaga’s dad, “is going to be OK.”

The singer and actress, who is pet parent to three French Bulldogs – Gustave, Koji and Asia – is currently in Italy filming the upcoming Gucci movie. Asia managed to escape and was later recovered by the Los Angeles Police.

Following the dognapping, Gaga went on social media and offered a $500,000 reward for the return of her furbabies. She also praised her “hero” and friend Ryan.

“My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago,” she wrote in a Friday Instagram post. “My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness. I will pay $500,000 for their safe return.”

“I continue to love you, Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family,” Gaga added. “You’re forever a hero.”

According to LAPD’s Capt. Jonathan Tippet, via Associated Press, at around 6PM Friday (February 26), a woman brought two French Bulldogs to the LAPD’s Olumpic Community Police Station – the pups, who are unharmed, were identified by the singer’s reps and detectives and have been reunited with Gaga’s team. Per the LAPD rep, the woman who brought the dogs to the station appears to be “uninvolved and unassociated” with Wednesday’s attack on Ryan.
