The Terminator is looking forward to becoming a grandpa!
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expecting their first child together – and, according to Katherine’s dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger, they’ll be welcoming a little bundle of joy really soon!
Although the couple are yet to publicly announce the happy news, Katherine and her growing baby bump have been spotted on multiple occasions in recent weeks – walking her dog; taking a walk with her mom; or going for a bike ride with her hubby.
There have been speculations that the baby will arrive in the fall. But Arnold says it’s sooner!
“Yeah, can you believe that? I mean, that is really exciting news that Katherine now, you know be pregnant and have a baby—I don’t know when exactly. Sometime this summer,” Arnold shared on Monday’s (May 18) episode of The Tonight Show. “And, inevitably, I’m really looking forward to playing around with whatever it is, she or he, and have some fun.”
Just about everyone knows how impressive the baby’s lineage will be – and it’s definitely not lost on the grandpa-to-be.
“I think this is kind of a unique experience,” he said. “But I was just thinking about the gene pool. I mean, think about this for a second: It is part Kennedy and part—you know, there’s three gene pools here. You can do Kennedy, Schwarzenegger and Pratt.”
“I mean, we can do anything,” Arnold added. “We can go and solve the Cuban Missile Crisis, we can go and kill Predators with our bare hands and we go and train dinosaurs. I mean, think about this. That is a lot of power here.”
However, he does hope that he or she won’t inherit this one trait from him.
“Worst thing is if this kid ends up, you know, with my accent,” he joked. “That’s what we don’t want.”
