Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are huge fans of 80s music – so much so, it will be their first dance at their upcoming wedding.

Fans have been looking forward to Blake and Gwen tying the knot ever since he popped the question last October after dating for five years. The couple has mostly kept mum about their wedding plans – but looks like their wedding planning is well underway because Blake just revealed a crucial detail about what will be happening at the reception.

During a virtual appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host asked the groom-to-be what song they plan to dance to as their first dance as husband and wife.

“I think it’s called the ‘Wedding March,'” Blake teased at first.

Jimmy went on to clarify, “Not that song, not the procession. No, no, I want at the reception, you come out of a fog machine…and they’re like, ‘Here is Mr. and Mrs. Blake Shelton! And now time for the couple’s first dance.’ And then, what do we hear?”

“It’s ‘If You Leave’ from the Pretty in Pink soundtrack,” Blake shared.

Jimmy thought The Voice coach was pulling his leg, but Blake showed him his phone, saying, “I swear, I have it right here. We talked about this, we both love the song, we’re both fans of the ’80s, why not?”

As for other wedding details, Blake previously told Hoda Kotb on Today that they’re hoping to say “I do” this summer. “With COVID, it looks like it may be OK, but I don’t know,” Blake noted.

And it’s looking like it’s going to be a star-studded affair, too! Gwen has already asked Ellen DeGeneres to be her maid of honor. Meanwhile, it’s still unclear whther Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus will be performing – Adam’s been hilariously trolling Blake that he won’t; Miley offered to sing at their wedding on Twitter.

Do you think they’ll take the Pretty In Pink theme one step further and apply it to the whole wedding?

Keep it here for updates!
