It’s been a full year since we got confirmation that Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp called it quits – but speculations are now heating up that the two may have reignited their romance.
It all started earlier this week, when Timmy was snapped by paps out and about in New York City. On the same day, Lily-Rose was also sighted in NYC. The two were nowhere near each other at the time, but fans began hoping that there’s more to the two former flames being in the same city at the same time than just mere coincidence.
Reconciliation rumors started to swirl when reports came out with sources claiming that the two were spotted around New York TOGETHER.
On Wednesday (April 7), while Timmy was seen running some errands, paparazzi claimed to have seen Lily-Rose waiting in a nearby car.
“It was her,” a source told E! News. “They saw her go in an Uber to his place, pick him up and head to Brooklyn.”
Then, a Twitter user claimed to have seen Timmy and Lily-Rose holding hands in Manhattan. Another shared a couple of blurry pictures that appears to be the two of them walking together outside.
However, these claims are unverified – and the pictures are too blurry for an actual ID. Still, fans are shipping Limothée all over again.
Timothée and Lily-Rose first started sparking romance rumors in 2018 – and pretty much confirmed their relationship status when they were spotted getting all hot and heavy on a yacht during an Italian vacay they took together.
Timmy did address THAT photo in an interview with GQ last year.
“I went to bed that night thinking that was one of the best days of my life. I was on this boat all day with someone I really loved, and closing my eyes, I was like, indisputably, ‘That was great,'” he told the magazine. “And then waking up to all these pictures, and feeling embarrassed, and looking like a real nob? All pale? And then people are like, ‘This is a P.R. stunt.’ A P.R. stunt?! Do you think I’d want to look like that in front of all of you?!”
The only confirmation of their breakup was when he told British Vogue last year that he was single. Then, a couple of months later, he was snapped making out with Eiza Gonzalez in Mexico. By fall, however, reports came out that he and Eiza were over – and she’d moved on to someone else.
